A Short Introduction

My name is Michael McCaughey, a Nashville based photographer, who likes to shoot anything with people. Well, I'll shoot anything I like or think looks cool, but mostly people.

I enjoy seeing new, beautiful, and neat things so now I take pictures of them, freezing those flashes of timelessness and awe that we wish to remember. That's pretty much it. No backstory, no fancy titles, just a guy who wants to see things and take pictures :)

Wondering what to expect? I tell people two things. First, I am a professional photographer but the most unprofessional one you will ever meet. Second, for nearly all the wonderful people I shoot, they have never done this before. That's great news because I have never done this before with you either. So let's make some magic happen!
